Nikolaus Zurkinden
(1506-1588)

Correspondence

This site hosts the first draft of a project about the correspondance of Nikolaus Zurkinden, official of the state of Berne, and correspondent of a great number of theologians active in the dissemination of the Swiss Reformation.

The site is not up to date anymore, but kept for historical reasons. You can still find the old (browseable) list of the letters from or to Zurkinden known until ca. 2019 (at that moment, 120 letters). In the meantime, several letters have been found and added to the new presentation of the project at the Institut d'histoire de la Réformation.
